We are glad to note that there is to be a meeting at the Fox and Hounds Inn, on Thursday night at seven o,clock, to arrange for the starting of a Pig Club at Norton Disney and Stapleford.   It is hoped that all who wish to help forward such an excellent scheme will attend.

On Saturday night the members of the Pig Club had their supper at the Fox and Hounds Inn, the repast being supplied by Host and Hostess Trustin in a very satisfactory manner.  After the removal of the cloth, the accounts for the past year were gone through, and found very satisfactory.   The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:- Messers. John Priestley, secretary; William Trustin, treasurer; Thomas Laywell and Joseph Sibcy, valuers; and William Bates, marker.   The members wish to return to the Rev. Mr. Roberts their united thanks for his subscription, which was thankfully received, as the club is not very strong, only having been started one year.   Fortunately there had been no losses.
