Rural Library
On Thursday last Lord St. Vincent gave a magic lantern entertainment in the Public Hall, Collingham. The hall was crowded in every part, and he proved himself to be a most expert manipulator. The views shown were of a very varied character, the scenes of Collingham (taken by his Lordship) being received with great enthusiasm. The comic slides and the moving pictures gave great amusement to the juvenile members. During the evening the Hon. Ronald Jervis gave a most life-like imitation of various animals, insects, &c. As Lord St Vincent paid all the expenses of the lantern, there will be the handsome sum of £4 to add to the funds of the Library.
